![]() | The Equine Dream Foundation has several different methods that we will use to try to achieve transformation. Putting all our hopes into one method could possibly be faster, but it would also be far more likely to fail, so we want to try every available method at the same time. Our divided attention may slow our efforts, but it also means that a dead end in one method will not cause failure. Out of all these methods, there is likely to be at least one that can be made to work. Some of them may seem unlikely, but we want to prove it impossible before we give up on it, though we try to give the most likely and most attractive methods more attention. Magic: Our first method is magic. Whatever your particular opinion about the likelihood of this method to succeed, it ranks top on the list because when accomplished it would likely be quick and easy, and because of the chance of a quick discovery early on where more scientific methods will assuredly take considerable time to develop. If you look for it with an open mind, the evidence that there is more to the world than meets the eye is overwhelming, and many different varieties of 'magic' (supposedly) take advantage of this. If any of those varieties are true, could they be used to achieve transformation? View a more detailed description Genetic Manipulation: Genetic manipulation is a promising method and could give nearly total morphological freedom. The drawback is that each transformation would be slow, and possibly painful. The pain could be taken out of it in several ways though, so that shouldn't be problem. This method will probably be developed eventually anyway, but not specifically for our purposes and not soon enough. We will try developing it ourselves, and also attempt to steer medical and commercial development of it in directions helpful to us. View a more detailed description Quantum Shifting: The science of quantum mechanics is extremely interesting and debunks many common-sense notions of how the world works. The facet most interesting to us is that nothing is impossible, just some things are extremely unlikely. There is an extremely tiny chance that you'll transform into your ideal form right at this moment. What we try to do with this method is make that extremely unlikely event more likely; with the eventual goal of making it a certainty View a more detailed description Virtual Reality: This doesn't refer today's gloves-and-helmet virtual reality. This would be basically the same thing, but we would put sensations directly into the nervous system to make them absolutely realistic. It would not be a real transformation, but as long as the virtual reality is on, you wouldn't be able to discern that. This is probably the most likely method to succeed, at least partially. Recording sensations for playback would be easy enough, but creating an interactive environment would take massive amounts of computing power and programming. View a more detailed description Surgery: The living body is a surprisingly malleable object. Amazing results have already been accomplished with various surgeries, but how far is the limit of what you can do with the creative application of surgical tools? We may find that it will take us as far as we want to go, but this would definitely be the slowest and most painful method of transformation, so it gets our lowest priority for now.
